Your Dual Credit Authorization is not considered complete until it has been signed by both your your parent/guardian and your high school counselor.

The Dual Credit Authorization Form will be sent to your parent/guardian’s email.  If they do not see it in their inbox, please ask them to check their junk or spam folder in case it was filtered.

Once your parent/guardian signs the form, it will automatically be sent to your counselor for approval and signature.   


Set up your student account and access your NIC email to stay connected from day one.


Your math and English assessment scores help advisors place you in the courses that best support your success. 

For Math, please complete the NIC Easy Math or ALEKS Math Placement Assessment and for English please complete The Write Class English Placement Assessment.  

You may also submit qualifying ACT, SAT or ISAT.   


 Get ready for success!  Orientation will walk you through enrollment steps and help you build a strong foundation for academic success.

1. Log in to MyNIC
2. Search for "Dual Credit Orientation"
3. Click on the Dual Credit Student Orientation Tile to start  

*You will need to log in to the orientation using your NIC account you set up in step 2.

To qualify for county support if you are not a resident of Kootenai, Ada, Bonneville, Canyon, Jerome or Twin Falls, you must submit a completed Certificate of Residency Form to your County Clerk’s Office.
  
Once NIC's Student Finance Office receives an approved Certificate of Residency form from your county, out-of-district fees will be removed from your account.
